Recently, Al Pacino was spotted with a phone case that’s covered in images of Shrek. Upon seeing this, people started going back through the archives of paparazzi snaps to discover that it’s a case he’d been using for at least two years.

Naturally, the main question here is “why.” Sure, Shrek is a fine franchise, but what the hell is the star of Heat doing walking around with an animated character on his iPhone?
