Simon Berger is a Swiss portrait artist who uses a very unique canvas for his fine art portraits -- a large expanse of safety glass -- and an old hammer as his paintbrush. His one-of-a-kind process creates haunting portraits that float before the viewer. Plus he kind of seems like a mad scientist/tortured artist combo that makes for an interesting character in and of himself.
