Banksy Put Up a New Piece and It Was Immediately Stolen
While Banksy’s art is made for the streets, it often doesn’t stay there long. That’s because, despite being a street artist, his work has fetched millions and millions of dollars. So if you’re a lower-income dude and you see a Banksy piece go up in your neighborhood, there’s a strong financial incentive for you to snatch it up and try to flip it on the internet.
This keeps happening to Banksy, with many of his street works nabbed by resellers in record time. Now, it appears to have happened again, with his “howling wolf” satellite painting removed from public consumption by having the satellite itself stolen off its rooftop.
BREAKING: A fourth Banksy artwork revealed in London in as many days appears to have been stolen.
