CEO Proves Once Again You Shouldn’t Try to Find Silver Linings to Hitler’s Reign
To paraphrase a famous Dril tweet, you do not, under any circumstances, “gotta hand it to” Hitler.
That fact doesn’t stop people from trying, for some reason. Whether it’s people proclaiming that he was a good artist (he wasn’t, dude had no sense of perspective in many senses of the term), that his military strategy was cutting-edge (he lost the war) or that his legacy ended up “bringing the world together” (it famously did the opposite), there are always a few people out there who suggest that there’s a sunnier side to Hitler’s legacy that people ignore, just because he killed millions and millions of people.
Recently, a video emerged of Scentbird’s CEO, Mariya Nurislamova, musing about what Hitler did for the world. While she may insist that “millions of souls benefited from learning from the experience that he has created,” I’m going to go ahead and say the world would have been better off without him.
