Chicago PD Caught a Coyote in a Grocery Store’s Deli Shelf
We don’t know what he was doing there.
On a typical day at the grocery store, the contents of the deli shelf can rarely be described as “unexpected.” The chain may have stocked some weird new meats (who the hell is buying the ham with jalapeño pieces in it?), but in general, you head to the deli aisle because you know what you’re going to find there.
Unless you live in Chicago — because apparently, you can sometimes find a coyote.
As you can see in this video, professionals attempted to remove the coyote, who apparently was there because it’s mating season and coyotes just kinda go crazy around this time. Now, he’s being held by wildlife experts — probably with a belly full of discount turkey slices.
