It’s an inevitability of the holiday season: Sometimes, you’re going to get something you don’t want. Whether it’s a close-enough knockoff of something you wanted from a well-intentioned relative, or something that’s absurdly outside your interests, it’s no surprise that most of us leave the holiday season with a touch of disappointment about one gift or another.
