Sometimes the fish angles you back!

Fishing is, for the most part, safe. If you go out onto a lake in search of fish, the worst that’s likely to happen to you is accidentally hooking your own finger, or taking a substantial hit to the ego after failing to catch even a single trout.

If you go for big fish, however, that’s an entirely different ballgame. Fish can get really goddamn big, and as they grow bigger, so too do all their sharp bits that can poke, prod and stab you.

This guy thought he was wrangling a swordfish into his boat, but by the end, he was narrowly avoiding a swordfish stabbing a hole in his heart.
