There’s no elegant way to slip on the ice. In a moment, your body descends to the ground, with your arms and legs flailing around like a skydiver who’s just realized he forgot his parachute. Once you’ve landed (and probably hurt yourself), there’s nothing left to do but get up, dust yourself off, and carry on with your day.
