He made it!

Rushing to a train is a very unpleasant experience. It almost always happens at the worst times, where you’re already drenched in sweat and, more often than not, carrying something heavy, too.

But if there’s somewhere you really have to be and you have no other option than take the train, the occasional rush is just going to be part of your everyday life. This guy realized he was about to miss his train, and rather than try to signal the conductor to keep the doors open, he made a dive for it.

It’s exactly what it sounds like.

Down in the Mexican town of San Juan de la Vega, they have an annual tradition in which people strap explosives to hammers, then slam them into the ground. Yes, it really is as basic as it sounds.

Allegedly, this festival began as a tribute to the town’s namesake and his history of fighting against wealthy landowners. But now, it really just seems like a way to watch some things go kaboom.

In case you’re wondering if this is dangerous, it absolutely is, with 43 people getting injured in 2020 alone.
