We’re really asking for it by making tables out of glass.

Despite being a common material for table creation since the late 1600s, we still haven’t learned that the stuff really isn’t the best for daily use. That’s because glass, as you might know, breaks — especially when it’s hit too hard or when your drunk friend decides he’s going to recreate his favorite wrestling move in your living room.

This dad thought he had it all: a patio, a glass porch table, chairs, everything a man needs to feel at home. All the table needed was an umbrella, and unfortunately, that umbrella would spell the table’s downfall.
