Yeah! Get ‘em!

Given just how much shit is going on with air travel right now, it feels stupid to complain about passport control. And yet, here we are, doing just that. Good for us.

Anyway, if you’ve traveled internationally, you know the experience of getting your passport checked. They generally just look it over, scan it with a machine, ask you some questions, stamp it and then you get sent on your way.

As it turns out, pretty much the entire system relies on that “scanning” step — and when the machine breaks, all hell can break loose.

At least, that’s what happened at this airport in Turkey, where a computer failure rendered the passport control line completely immobile. Frustrated, one woman began screaming at the passport control agent — and the entire line had her back.
