Jeopardy! has changed a lot since its inception. Although the game began as a series of average Joes who know more than you think providing questions to answers (I know, it’s a stupid format), the answers have since become a lot more difficult — and the contestants a lot stranger.

Yes, given how much money is on the line, it’s no surprise that some would commit their lives to being the best Jeopardy! players possible, and that those with the time to do that might also not be the most normal people. As a result, we’ve seen some pretty wild Jeopardy! contestants over the years and heard some pretty out-there stories. That said, this one definitely takes the cake.
