He’s lucky that all he lost was his hat.

A tire under pressure is a dangerous thing. Popping a tire that’s been overfilled has led to a whole host of problems — which is why one can fairly easily drain a tire of air by simply letting pressure out through the valve.

This guy didn’t do that, and then promptly learned why he should have.
