Here I am still running on two legs like an idiot.
Human beings are pretty unique in the way that we’re bipedal. It’s a trait we really only share with birds and, occasionally, apes, though they often walk using their arms as well.
However, some forward-thinking athletes are trying to change that. They’ve developed a new sport that’s essentially just racing, only you use your hands to do it as well. They’ve managed to crack some pretty unbelievable speeds doing so. For example, this Japanese athlete can finish a 100-meter race in just 15.71 seconds — not bad, considering that the world record for the bipedal race is 9.58 seconds.
