Musician Makes the Most Pathetic Stage Dive Attempt of All Time
This is the kind of stuff that puts people into retirement.
Have you heard of The Dare? If not, go ask your teenage niece — but, in case you don’t have one (or they just don’t like talking to you), The Dare, aka Harrison Patrick Smith, is an absurdly British-looking man who has risen to prominence recently thanks to his production on songs like Charli XCX’s “Guess.”
Now, he’s touring as a solo act on the heels of the release of his album What’s Wrong with New York? While the album is mid (just listen to LCD Soundsystem, coward), his stage show is proving to be, well, even more mid. If you need proof, look no further than this recent video, where The Dare attempts to crowdsurf and falls right through the crowd.
Sorry, Harrison — at least “Perfume” is still a bop.
