My favorite Belize hotel is a gem and located downtown San Ignacio in the Cayo District. It is economical at only BZ$60 a night. There is no air-conditioning but the rooms are cool with fans and extremely comfortable with a private bathroom. There are 2 large refrigerators in the common area for guests to use. Plus they have a coffee machine.
