Our politics have gotten pretty weird. Politicians go on TV and talk about immigrants eating cats and dogs, the current president can barely string a sentence together, and our former president keeps almost getting assassinated.

But somewhere, deep in our hearts, we know that most of the language used to describe our terrible situation is cynical. These politicos don’t actually care about the people or the truth; they just know what will make the people they want happy, happy, and the people they want mad, furious — and, maybe, voting.

That said, if you spend several generations making your politics greater degrees of insane, you’re going to get some people who actually believe this shit. One of those people is Roseanne, who took a break from hearing about RFK’s animal carcasses to join Tucker Carlson on his current tour.

It was on this tour that she stated, “You know they eat babies. That is not bullshit,” then declared that certain people are “vampires” who “love the taste of human flesh, and they drink human blood.”
