Sheep, meet Detroit.

When you think about a slaughterhouse, you’re likely picturing some place far outside the city in which animals are killed and processed into that pink slime we love so much.

While places like these do exist (and in considerable numbers), wherever animals can be fit, they can also be killed. This means that there are plenty of slaughterhouses in major metropolitan areas, holding animals until they’re fat enough to be turned into a sausage.

Sometimes, these animals break free — like this sheep, who escaped from a Detroit slaughterhouse and helped himself to a day on the town.
