Writer and actor Jerrod Carmichael hosted last night's 80th Golden Globe Awards, and he did not disappoint.

During the ceremony, Carmichael brought out three Golden Globe Awards joking that they were the same that Scientologist member, Tom Cruise returned last year. Cruise gave back the awards in 'disgust' after the Golden Globes' diversity and ethics failings were made public.

Carmichael stated, "I think maybe we take these three things and exchange them for the safe return of Shelly Miscavige," and the silence from the audience was telling.

Shelly Miscavige is the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige. She was last seen in public in 2007. There have been multiple missing persons reports filed on her behalf, even though the LAPD states that they have spoken to Shelly and she is living a private life. The Church of Scientology has never commented on her whereabouts.

Kudos to Carmichael for his job hosting and thanks for calling out the hypocrites in attendance.
