The Dude Who Allegedly Blew Up the Cybertruck Was an 'Ultimate Soldier Challenge' Winner

Is this real life? Really?

Earlier this week, we talked about how a Cybertruck blew up in front of Trump Tower. At the time of writing, we really knew nothing about it—we knew the alleged name of the guy who rented it, but we had no idea if this was even intentional, let alone what message was trying to be sent by the action.

Now, we have a little bit more of an idea of what was going on, but not much. We know that the person at the wheel was named Matthew Livelsberger and was a 37-year-old Green Beret. We also know that, unless he was just trying to blow up a car, his attempt to cause significant damage was a failure.

Additionally, while we might not be certain of his motive, we know that he seemed to actually like the car before he blew it up, texting his ex-girlfriend “It’s the shit” and “I feel like Batman or halo.”

As with any incident like this, people are now combing through the internet to find anything else from Livelsberger that could be indicative of his ideology or the message he was trying to send. Instead, we found out he was on a show called “Ultimate Soldier Challenge.”

My third eye is open, and I can’t say I like it.
