Floods seem to be getting more spiteful. While floods of yore would bury a whole town underwater, there’s been a few too many cases of targeted floods in recent memory for comfort. Take, for example, the water main that burst on a street and doused some woman’s house, or the man who had his new home office ruined when a flood burst through the window.


Now, the beautiful city of Montreal is all aflutter after a water main burst near the Jacques Cartier Bridge. The flood apparently led to power loss and a boil-water advisory — and some pretty unbelievable imagery.

Utah Dude’s Home Office Ruined After Flood Breaks Through Window

It’s been quite the year for floods. From crazy floods in China, to floods taking over dining halls, to that one dude in India who vibed his way through a natural disaster, there’s been a rise in, well, rising waters that definitely doesn’t portend something awful about the future of our climate.


Recently, severe flooding hit the town of Orem, Utah. While much was destroyed, this family may have been some of the unluckiest in the town, as they had to watch their newly refinished basement succumb to the downpour’s murky waters.


That’s going to take a while to dry out!
