Theo Von is continuing his streak of saying outlandish things to someone who might be in the White House soon. In case you forgot, earlier this year, Theo Von had Donald Trump on his podcast, using the opportunity to tell him about how cocaine will “turn you into a damn owl, homie.”

Now, he’s got JD Vance in the mix. On this podcast episode, they discuss the drug problem in America. While overdose deaths are down, they’re still much higher than they should be, largely due to the fact that our drug markets were flooded with opioids and that, with industry gone, there’s really nothing better to do in most American towns than get too high to move and watch Young Sheldon.

Of course, part of this danger can be linked to contamination. Nowadays, you can’t be sure if any drug really is what it says it is, leading some to quit the stuff entirely. To phrase it like Von does, it’s sad that you can’t even do a little bit of coke anymore without running the risk of your heart exploding.
