They’re bringing sass to the draft.

Over in Thailand, they have a pretty strange system for determining whether you have to go into the military. Basically, you draw a card from a big pot — draw red, and it’s two years of military service; draw black, and you’re free to return to whatever the hell else it is you do in Thailand.

As you can probably guess, this means that a lot of people end up losing their shit at these drafts, either in a positive way upon learning they don’t have to serve or in a negative way when they realize they have to kiss the next two years of their lives goodbye.

Also, trans women can exempt themselves from the draft, so there’s been a recent trend of trans women getting dolled up to go tell the draftsmen to fuck off. Here are some of the best videos from this odd tradition:
