Bag Catches Fire Mid-Flight
Sigh, this is just going to keep happening, huh?
In recent years, many airlines have put restrictions on passengers that prevent them from bringing power banks onto a flight. This is annoying, as most airlines still haven’t gotten the message that everyone is pretty much locked into their phones from minute one of a flight, and so, providing power to those phones is *kind of* a necessity. At least give us USB power!
That said, they’re almost surely right to stop people from bringing just any ol’ Temu phone charger onto a plane. To offer a recent example as to why, take this Hong Kong Airlines flight, which had to be downed after an alleged power-bank explosion set the overhead compartment on fire.
