That’s not supposed to happen, right?

Whenever you see those people hanging off of high-rises washing windows, you’ve gotta wonder, “What keeps them from just smashing into the building?”

As it turns out, not much. According to CBS News, citing the NYPD, for one reason or another this scaffolding wasn’t attached, which meant that, as soon as they were hit by a strong wind, these window washers went flying, shattering several windows in the process.

The two men involved were later rescued. But who’s gonna finish cleaning the windows?
