Deaf student doesn't know that farting makes a sound, so teacher informs them that not all farts are 'silent but deadly'. She made a Facebook post about the interaction with said student and the class and it's pretty hilarious.

There are probably hundreds of aspects of being a deaf person that most people will not understand. Farting is probably one that doesn't come up a lot. A student found out while 'ripping some farts' that they are indeed audible to the whole class and this teacher documented it all in a Facebook post.

A lot of people seem to have some funny stories about being hearing impaired or deaf and farting up a storm in public.
