Brian Szasz, the stepson of billionaire Hamish Harding, one of the five passengers aboard OceanGate’s missing Titan submersible, has somehow overshadowed what might be the most insane news story in years.

After going to a Blink-182 concert while news broke that his stepfather was lost at sea in a tiny DIY submarine, and after publicly asking Twitch streamer Perfexiaa to sit on his face, he's tweeting at Cardi B accusing her of being "pos trashy celeb."

The pair’s spat began on Tuesday, June 20, after Cardi took to Instagram to denounce Szasz's tasteless social media posts of him at a Blink-182 concert.

“One of the billionaires — their stepson is at a concert, right? At a Blink-182 concert, and people is like, ‘Well, what, is he supposed to do, be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for him himself?’” the artist said in her Instagram story.

“Yes. You’re supposed to be at the house sad,” she continued. “You’re supposed to be crying for me. You’re supposed to be right next to the phone waiting to hear any updates about me.”

Cardi concluded her post with a message detailing how she’d rather be poor than know her loved ones were “ready to shake dicks at concerts.”

"That's crazy. I'd rather be broke,” she said. “I'd rather be broke and poor, but knowing that I'm loved."

Hours after her post sparked headlines, Szasz, took a break from his newfound schedule of tweeting about the tragedy and sending thirsty replies to models to slam the musician, denouncing her as a “pos trashy celeb” in a series of tweets.

In a now-deleted tweet Szazs responded to her video by saying, “Cardi B trying to get clout off me and my families suffering,” he wrote, alleging that he went to a Blink 182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news.”  Shame on you Cardi get some class!”

Szasz’s insults then took a turn for the ad hominem, the self-proclaimed audio engineer slamming Cardi B’s music in a subsequent post.

“Cardi B We know all your latest releases are trash but is your career this desperate for attention now??”

Yet, it seems Twitter was less than convinced that Cardi B was the one desperate for attention and in need of class.

“lmaooo Is this classy behavior?,” mused @HarlemMC alongside a screengrab depicting Szasz’s down-bad message to Twitch streamer @Perfexiaa.

But hey, much like his stepfather’s likely ill-fated submarine, at least Szasz’s Twitter terror has a very finite shelf life.
