There is a zero tolerance for divas on porn sets. If the performers want to be treated professionally, they act professional. They know that, and they do this as their job. Celebrity actors seem to forget that this is their job and act like irreplaceable assholes.

Egotism is unheard of in porn. Ironically, the adult industry is no dick-measuring contest, and big name porn stars don't act like they are someone better than the rest of the people on set.

Porn sets are much more considerate than that of Hollywood and every single person around set is respectful of the needs of others. “I don’t feel comfortable with this” is the key word that stops the scene and won't result in the producers threatening actors to do their part because they got paid to do it. Anyone who violates the boundaries or lacks respect is off the set, permanently.

A porn producer's job is to make the crew bond together. Unlike in Hollywood, where the producers try to keep the more conflicted stars out of their ways, in the adult industry they make sure to make it easier for the cast to do their job and become friends with coworkers.

Unlike most of the Hollywood celebs running away from fans and paparazzi, the adult movie stars stay in touch with their fans. You can often find a selfie taken by a big name porn star with a fan, shared on her Instagram or Twitter, where she would also reply to the fan comments - something most celebs would never engage in.

Porn actor James Deen was shocked at Lindsay Lohan's behavior on the set of The Canyons. He said that she didn’t show up to rehearsals, belittled him (she screamed at him on set) and treated him terribly. She even demanded that Deen, who is rather short (5'7), stand on apple boxes so she could wear high heels without towering over him. According to the adult movie star, such a behavior is unheard of on a porn set.

No need for making a buzz around a production - often resulting in bad productions getting more recognition than they deserve. Adult industry doesn’t need the press or scandals to promote their production - their content's quality speaks for itself.

Porn stars don't sell out as much as Hollywood celebs.

Adult movie stars don't hold any prejudice towards co-workers. Also, an adult performer will not tolerate being yelled at because they’re not used to it. A yelling movie star, however, is as often of a occurence on a hollywood set, as a movie star that gets mad, bursts into tears and runs off.

In the adult industry women earn more than men, the opposite of Hollywood. Quoting Salma Hayek: “The only kind of film where women make more money than men is porn. It’s not funny.”
