uDraw Game Tablet 2010 - Originally released exclusively for the Wii, this device allowed the user to draw pictures on screen. After being released to the PS3 and Xbox 360 it failed attract customers and was discontinued in 2012. -

Nintendo Virtual Boy 1995 - Looking more like an outdoor grill than a console, this machine was the first to be able to display 3D graphics but wasn't well received and discontinued the same year it was released. -

Nintendo 64DD 1999 - This abomination was created as a peripheral device to the Nintendo 64 console and allowed for extra data storage since game cartridges only held 64 megabytes of data. It was discontinued the year it was released because of poor sales. -

Atari Jaguar 1993 - Designed to surpass the processing power of the Sega Genesis and SNES, this console failed to attract customers despite featuring a number of popular games and was the last American system released until the Xbox in 2001. -

Gizmondo 2005 - This handheld console featured a camera, texting, Bluetooth, and GPS and was expected to be a huge success but sold poorly. The company went into bankruptcy in 2006 and the device was discontinued as well. -

Vectrex 1982 - Featuring an integrated vector monitor, a preinstalled game, and color graphics, this console was released to glowing early reviews but couldn't connect with customers. -
