1.
Balls To The Wall! -
2.
The best pure rock and roll band to ever walk the earth. Nobody doesn't like ACDC. -
3.
40 years of rocking. Amazing. -
4.
If you don't remember this guy, look up the song "Fantasy". It sounds awesome cranked up on a good stereo. -
5.
Scott Ian is still a bad ass. -
6.
Look up "Turn Up The Radio" if you don't remember these guys. -
7.
As Butthead would say, "huh huh huh. He said Stroke Me." -
8.
"Hold On To 18" was probably their most remembered song. -
9.
I know Ronnie James Dio was only with them for a couple of years in the 80s. -
10.
"Burnin' For You" was really the only 80s song of theirs that I liked. "Godzilla" always did, and still does rock, though. -
11.
For some reason I just wasn't into Bon Jovi....but the chicks were, so I listened to him. I do have to admit that his first album, "Bon Jovi" was pretty good, though. I still like the song "Runaway". -
12.
They were a little mellower, and only had one studio album in the 80s. I liked some of it, though. "Cool The Engines" was good. So was the song "Amanda" for the few weeks I was banging some chick named Amanda. -
13.
Technically, they did release one album in the 80s. I couldn't tell you a single song on it, though. I still rocked their 70's songs, "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" and "Takin' Care Of Business". -
14.
"Smooth Up In Ya'!" -
15.
"Mommys all right And daddys all right They just seem a little weird Surrender, surrender, just dont give yourself away, away" -
16.
"Shake Me" is still one of my all time favorite hair band songs. -
17.
"Can You Take Me High Enough"? How did I forget to put Ted Nugent in this gallery? -
18.
I only owned their debut album, but I wore that cassette tape out. -
19.
I loved the "Perfect Strangers" album that came out in '84. "Knockin' At Your Back Door" is a bad ass song. -
20.
Definitely one of the Kings of the hair band era. -
21.
"The Last In Line". -
22.
The "Tooth And Nail" album is my favorite. -
23.
OK, they did that song "Xanadu" with Olivia Newton John, in 1980. I just couldn't think of many decent bands that started with the letter "E". I did like the song "Don't Bring Me Down." -
24.
"The Final Countdown" is all I remember about these guys. -
25.
I remember the name, but to be honest with you, I can't pull any of their songs out of my ass. -
26.
"Poison Ivy". "House Of Pain". -
27.
If you don't remember them, look up "Say What You Will". -
28.
Never really like their 80s stuff, but still rocked out to "Slow Ride", "Fool For The City", and "I Just Want To Make Love To You". -
29.
Carry a fire extinguisher if you go see them. -
30.
Huge talent, and huge success. Could have had an even greater legacy. -
31.
I remember Vince Neal killing Razzle more than I remember any of their music. -
32.
They mellowed some, but were still relevant to the era. -
33.
Heaven. I vaguely remember them. They did tour with Motley Crue and Dio, and some other big name groups of the time. -
34.
Helix. "Gimme and R R, O O, C C, K K. What ya got? Rock! And what ya' gonna' do? Rock you!." -
35.
Iron Maiden. What else is there to say. -
36.
Blind guy. I just remember the chicks loving the song "Angel Eyes". -
37.
Joe Satriani. Amazing guitar player. I don't know why I forgot to put Yngwee Malmsteen in here either. -
38.
"Open Arms." "Faithfully." "Stone In Love." "Don't Stop Believin'." -
39.
Judas Priest. One of my favorites of the day. My mom hated them...lol. -
40.
Kick Axe. "Look up "Heavy Metal Shuffle" if you don't remember them. -
41.
Kiss. Yep. That was Kiss in the 80s. I actually loved the "Lick It Up" album. Die hard Kiss fans would puke if they heard that. -
42.
Kix. "Blow My Fuse." "Don't Close Your Eyes." -
43.
I loved these guys. "L.A. Guns" and "Cocked And Loaded" were killer albums. -
44.
Most I remember about her was her duet with Ozzy, "Close My Eyes Forever", and the fact that she was pretty slutty.....which was a good thing back then. -
45.
Japanese metal band. I owned the "Thunder In The East" album. That was it, though. -
46.
I didn't own any of their stuff, but I wouldn't turn it off when it came on the radio. -
47.
I have to be honest. I really wasn't that big a fan. A lot of my friends were, though. I really only liked the song "Sweating Bullets", but it didn't come out until the "Countdown To Extinction" album in '92. -
48.
Metallica. Back when Lars was actually cool. -
49.
OK. Montrose only released one crappy little album in the 80s. But the 70s stuff he did with Sammy Hagar was sweet. "Rock Candy" and "Bad Motor Scooter" still rock. -
50.
Probably my favorite band of the era.....except for ACDC, of course. -
51.
Only one album in the 80s, but I saw them open for ACDC's Razor's Edge tour at the Cow Palace, in San Francisco, in December of 1990. Not bad. -
52.
Great bunch of song writers and musicians here. -
53.
One of the greatest, if not the greatest, rock and roll voice ever. He still sounds amazing. -
54.
I actually hated these guys, but the chicks LOVED them.....so...... -
55.
Not a huge fan, but they're definitely awesome musicians. -
56.
Dude. When "Mental Health " dropped.....awesome. -
57.
I actually really liked these guys. I have a mix CD in my truck's cd player right now. -
58.
To be honest. I remember the name, but I can't recall any of their songs off the top of my head. -
59.
I was never a huge fan, but Neil Peart might be the greatest drummer that ever lived. -
60.
The guy is still rocking out at 66 years old. -
61.
Once again. I remember the name, but can't recall any songs. I actually think I had one of their tapes too...lol. -
62.
One of my top 5 favorites of the era. They were, by far, the best band at the 83' US Festival. I never saw them live, but wish I had. Great music and tons of energy. -
63.
Awesome for a little while. -
64.
"Up All Night!" -
65.
Remember this religious rock group? They've sold like 10 million records. They even toured with Bon Jovi and Ratt. -
66.
Tesla. Another amazing group of musicians. -
67.
Not much of an 80s band, but I was rocking "Jail Break" and "The Boys Are Back In Town" in the 80s. -
68.
"Magic Power". -
69.
So corny.......but i freakin' loved them. -
70.
Hell. You try to come up with a "U" band. -
71.
This is the awesome group of Van Halen. -
72.
This is some crappy group that destroyed real Van Halen music, and real Sammy Hagar music. -
73.
They didn't completely suck.....and they were kinda' hot. -
74.
You can't have a Warrant reference without the Cherry Pie chick. -
75.
W.A.S.P. I loved the way they gave Tipper Gore nightmares. -
76.
Great band. David Coverdale also did an album with Jimmy Page, called "Coverdale - Page". Dude......it's awesome. -
77.
Winger.....chasing those 17 year old girls. -
78.
Another amazing group that never got enough credit. "Rescue Me" is one of the best rock songs ever. -
79.
The band "Yes"....just because. -
80.
ZZ Top is like ACDC. Everybody loves them.
