Orbitz - Orbitz soda was introduced in 1997 by the Clearly Canadian Beverage Company, but disappeared not long after due to lack of sales. The soft drink was made in six flavors which included Vanilla Orange, Pineapple Banana Cherry Coconut, Raspberry Citrus, Blueberry Melon Strawberry, Black Currant Berry and Charlie Brown Chocolate.

Crystal Pepsi - In 1992 PepsiCo attempted to revolutionize the soda market by introducing a clear cola. Crystal Pepsi was received well by many initially to the tune of over 400 million dollars in its first year however those numbers plummeted during its second year and Pepsi canned the product soon after.

Surge - In 1996 the Coca-Cola Company created Surge to compete with Mountain Dew and it was very successful until its demise in 2003. To this day there still several fans who are attempting to convince Coca-Cola to bring back the sweet citrus flavored soda.

Sprite Remix - Sprite Remix was introduced in 2003 and was discontinued following just two years on the market in 2005. It truly was a shame that this soda had to go because the original flavor tropical remix was very tasty. It was like a bag of Skittles candy inside of a bottle of Sprite.

Black Cherry Vanilla Coke - Black Cherry Vanilla Coke was introduced in 2006 and quickly discontinued in 2007. Despite the fact of its short shelf-span, this beverage was actually one of the Coca-Cola Company's best ideas, which made us very sad to watch it go.

Hubba Bubba Soda - During the 1980's the Wrigley Company, the makers of Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum, decided to venture into the soda game. The result of that was Hubba Bubba Soda, which made a splash among children upon its release, but was quickly discontinued due to poor sales.

Pepsi Blue - Pepsi Blue was yet another one of the radical ideas that the PepsiCo rolled out throughout their time producing soft drinks. The Berry Cola Fusion beverage was introduced in 2002 but was discontinued just a couple years later in 2004.

Jolt Cola - Jolt Cola was introduced to the public in 1985 and had a very successful run until the company who manufactured it, Wet Planet Beverages filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2009. Jolt's appeal was the fact that it contained twice as much caffeine as the average cola which enabled its drinkers to possess additional energy.

Snapple Tru Root Beer - Before Snapple took on the iced tea and juice world, they were in the business of making soda and one of their best sellers then was Snapple Tru Root Beer. The soft drink was first released in 1983 and was loved by many until its discontinuation in 1988

Coke II - Coke II was originally made in 1985 and called New Coke until it was officially changed to Coke II in 1992. In 2002 the soda was completely discontinued after seeing its popularity decrease year after year.

Apple Slice - Apple Slice was a success when introduced in the late 1980's by it's parent company PepsiCo, but it didn't last too long before it was pulled. In fact the entire Slice brand has been discontinued in the US due to the rise of Sierra Mist, however you can still find the soft drink not in apple exclusively in Wal-Mart.

Lifesavers Soda - How many of you remember Lifesavers Soda? Introduced by the candy conglomerate in 1980 it was considered too sweet to drink by most consumers, so it was completely pulled off store shelves by 1989.

Josta - In 1995 PepsiCo introduced their first sodaenergy drink in the form of Josta. The beverage was loaded with caffeine as well as guarana and was extremely popular until its discontinuation in 1999.

Coke Lime - When Coke Lime was released in 2004 it was an immediate success thanks to its initial commercial which used Harry Nilsson's hit song "Coconut". Unfortunately the instant success didn't carry over for the beverage for too long as it was discontinued in 2006.

Dr. Pepper Red Fusion - In 2002 the makers of Dr. Pepper decided to try a different approach with their product, launching the cherry flavored Dr. Pepper Red Fusion. It was a very tasty soda, but lasted just three years on the shelf before being discontinued in 2004.
