Why even attempt this?  Truly i see no good coming out of this.

Why are we so entertained with pain and stupidity?

It seems that everything that entertains us is truly harmful or downright idiotic.   We are intrigued by watching a video hoping that a shark will turn away from the bait and attack a man that thought it was a good idea to surf using it as a means of propulsion.
